Welcome! We started back in 1792, when George Washington was president of fourteen new United States. A number of farming families joined to worship in Virginia's Campbell County, close to Patrick Henry's Red Hill Plantation. Their church would take the name of the nearby Falling River. Considering the many drastic changes our world has seen since then, one thing has kept Falling River Baptist Church not only surviving, but thriving: our shared passion to know Christ, be like Him, and share Him with others! This desire is expressed through many ministries in our church family, community, and world; the pages here will introduce you to these. Dive in!
Friendly and active, this is a small town church with strong community and family ties. We typically have a little over a hundred folks in Sunday morning worship. God is doing wonderful things here, and we know it has everything to do with His goodness -- not our perfection. We look forward to seeing you soon!
